Students in UNC Charlotte's Master of Urban Design (MUD) program teamed with seventh-graders from Piedmont Open IB Middle School to create the "10th Street Tiny Park" project in Charlotte recently.
The project, led by Professor José Gamez and architecture graduate student and research assistant Amy Stewart, included features for safety and comfort.
