Adult and Community College Education Ed.D.
For almost a decade, the Graduate School has partnered with NC State’s doctoral program in Adult and Community College Education offering new cohorts at three-year intervals. The current cohort began in summer 2016. This program is offered in an executive format with classes meeting on alternating weekends on the UNC Charlotte campus. Courses are offered on the UNC Charlotte main campus through a distance education program based at NC State. Students enrolled have direct access to the skill and expertise of the NC State faculty while remaining close to home and their professional careers in the Charlotte region. In addition, students enrolled have full access to the UNC Charlotte main campus, facilities and all of its resources.
“I truly appreciate the structure of the program which allows me to plan ahead of time for potential conflicts between work projects and class assignments. As a working professional, being able to balance my work responsibilities with academic commitments is essential to my success and sanity!”
"Thank you for providing the opportunity to pursue a terminal degree through NCSU on the campus of UNC C.harlotte The group assembled that evening asked many pertinent questions and our interaction with Dr. Bartlett was really informative. I am very excited and am currently in the application preparation process for early admission. I see this as a true opportunity to become an effective college administrator!"
