Rick Tankersley, vice chancellor for Research and Economic Development, was named to the North Carolina Board of Science, Technology and Innovation by Gov. Roy Cooper.
The goal of the NC Board of Science is to boost the state's competitiveness in scientific, engineering and industrial research applications and accelerate the development of technology and technology companies.
