This workshop will provide international students (as well as domestic students and postdocs of all sorts!) with specific tips on how to address the challenges of phone and Skype interviews.
Interviewing in and of itself can be a stressful experience. It takes the right knowledge and strategy to make sure you are putting your best foot forward and showing your "best self" during the process. Interviewing by phone or through video chat technology is a whole new level! This workshop is about providing you with knowledge and strategies to ensure you are managing your "best self" during a phone or video chat type interview and understanding what the employer is trying to accomplish.
