INFORMATION SESSIONS

The Graduate School warmly encourages you to attend an information session to discover the wealth of educational opportunities awaiting you at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  UNC Charlotte offers over 100 graduate programs in seven different colleges, so please visit the Graduate Program Listing webpage for additional information.

RSVP today to attend one of our Information Sessions.

Two types of information sessions are offered for prospective students interested in obtaining information about graduate school:  Program Information Sessions and General Information Sessions.

Following are descriptions of the sessions we offer to prospective graduate students:

  • Program Information Sessions - As the name suggests, these information sessions are hosted by a Graduate Program Director and are related to a specific program of study.  Generally, you will have an opportunity to meet the graduate faculty (and maybe even some graduate students!) and learn specific details about the program.  Information about the application process, admission requirements and funding opportunities are also provided.
  • General Information Sessions - These sessions provide a general overview of the myriad of doctoral, master's, certificate, and post-baccalaureate (non-degree) graduate programs offered at UNC Charlotte.  You will learn the basics about the application and admission process, including valuable information about standardized test requirements and funding opportunities.  Unless noted elsewhere, General Information Sessions are held in the Graduate School on the main UNC Charlotte campus on the second floor of Cato Hall.

If you are unsure of the program you wish to study, begin by attending one of our General Information Sessions.  Space is limited, so RSVP today.  Additional details will be provided in your registration confirmation email.  Prospective students requiring special accommodations should contact Maryanne Maree-Sams at 704.687.7724 at least two weeks in advance of the visit so that arrangements may be made in a timely manner.

We look forward to meeting you!
