When and Where
The Commercialization Knowledge Series takes place in the Bioinformatics Building in Room 217.  Programs begin promptly at 1:00 and end at 2:30.

Resources for University Researchers Considering Commercialization

This program will introduce you to services provided by UNC Charlotte and the Charlotte community. Topics include: intellectual property protection, commercialization potential assessment, business startup assistance, and financing guidance. Learn how the Five Ventures competition has helped launch businesses and how the Ben Craig Center supports university-based entrepreneurs. Discussion will be led by:

  • Devin Collins, Asst. Dir. Business & Entrepreneurial Development, Charlotte Research Institute
  • Brad Fach, Assistant Director, Office of Technology Transfer
  • Paul Wetenhall, President, Ben Craig Center, Inc.
