In order to attract and retain the top students, both nationally and internationally, and strengthen UNC Charlotte's graduate programs we must expand graduate fellowships. Increased fellowship support allows students to focus on their educational goals and actively contribute to the UNC Charlotte academic community. Additionally, by alleviating financial strain we allow our students to focus on problems in their specialty that directly impact the greater Charlotte community.
